The fog was heavy and thick like an anvil. Okay, I know that sounds like a bad start to one of those hokey horror
movies, but it's not. I was driving down the long winding road in the mountains. The music was loud and I didn’t' have
a care in the world. Okay that last parts a white lie. I had to worry about driving off the road because of the fog. No, I
don't drive off a cliff or anything. You people are so pessimistic. Anyway, I finally made it to the bottom of the mountain
alive. I entered the small town of Riverside. Gee, I wonder where they got that name. Could it be the large river that runs
the length of town and empties into the sea? Nah...That couldn't be it.
You might be wondering why I'm in this one horse town. No, I literally mean one horse town. Believe me I couldn't
make this stuff up; well I could, but I'm not. I had to make this trip over the mountain to this town for my job. Apparently,
they aren't stuck in the Stone Age. One of the town's people found my company on the web and lucky me was sent out to handle
his account. The roads are paved, but there are only two lanes one in each direction.
At least it's not like that Jeremy Sisto movie where there was only one road in and out of town. This was because
no one ever left. I'm sure you can think of plenty of reasons why, and some might be right.
